It should be a strange thing for a person who is in double major and there are no connection with each major. When I choose my majors, I did not think that much, just feel like: ok, I'm good at math, so I may can take it as a life experience; I want to have some experience that I never had a chance to have before, and I don't hate it, so I choose media to be another major. It may be because in Math major that I had an opportunity to learn Python.
It was not an easy thing for me. Before I had a chance to learn Python, I never really touch any of my knowledge about writing a computer program, though I'm in math major.
This is important to know what is Python first before you learn Python. So, what is Python? The answer from the website is that Python is an interpreted high-level general-purpose programming language. Its design philosophy emphasizes code readability with its use of significant indentation. Its language constructs as well as its object-oriented approach aims to help programmers write clear, logical code for small and large-scale projects.

This is important to learn this language, because Python language is a most easier language to talk with the computer. Otherwise, there is also Procedural Programming Language, Functional Programming Language, C++ Language, C Language, etc. Each language is similar but different that need to learn carefully to understand each of them differently.
